Building Community Through Experiences.
SWAE is an event production company delivering community events and private experiences throughout Thurston County and beyond. Whether we’re building a market, a block party, or a custom celebration, our team combines creativity and execution to bring your vision to life and create experiences people remember.
HOW IT STARTED
SWAE began with a simple idea: create a place where small businesses could shine and the community could come together in a meaningful way. What started as a small pop-up market has evolved into a full event production company—now hosting some of the region’s most loved experiences with thousands attending each season.
From day one, culture has been at the heart of what we do. We celebrate the diverse stories, traditions, and identities that make our community vibrant. SWAE is more than events—it’s a movement rooted in creativity, representation, and meaningful connection.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi, I’m Jason—founder of SWAE, Marine veteran, husband, dad, and community builder. Since launching SWAE, I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of local businesses and witnessing the growth, passion, and resilience of our community.
My mission is simple: create experiences that matter, uplift small businesses, highlight culture, and bring people together in authentic ways.
WHAT IS SWAE?
We get this question all the time.
No, SWAE isn't an acronym. It doesn't stand for anything.
The name comes from a slang term meaning hip, cool, awesome, or "lit."
"That party was swae."
"That outfit is swae."
Years ago, SWAE was the name I chose for an LLC while exploring some of my first business ventures. Some succeeded. Many didn't. Through the wins, setbacks, failures, and lessons learned, one thing remained consistent: the name.
When it came time to build something bigger, I kept it.
Not because it was perfect.
Because it was real.
Today, SWAE represents community, culture, and connection. Whether we're producing a night market, block party, concert, networking event, or community gathering, our goal is simple:
Create experiences that bring people together, support local businesses, and strengthen the communities we serve.
And hopefully, when it's all said and done, people walk away thinking:
"That was swae."

LOOKING AHEAD
As we grow, SWAE is stepping into bigger collaborations, new event formats, private productions, and deeper regional partnerships. But at the core, it’s still about community, culture, and creating experiences that bring people together.
